Arrieros del Nef Park

A natural gem just 25 minutes from Cochrane

The reserve spans an area of 545 hectares and is located next to the majestic Nef River. It features meadows, lagoons, streams, and native forests in various states of conservation, offering spectacular panoramic views of Patagonia’s scenic landscapes.

Upstream, 30 kilometers away, lies the Nef Glacier, the gateway to the Northern Patagonian Ice Field. From there, the Nef River flows, emptying its waters into the mighty Baker River, the most voluminous river in Chile.
Discover this corner of Patagonia, explore the 4.5 km of Nef River shoreline within the reserve, walk to its confluence with the Baker River, learn about Patagonian culture, and find out why this area is an indispensable treasure to protect for future generations.
