Collective management of conservation areas is an effective strategy for involving local communities and indigenous peoples in the protection and restoration of ecosystems. This approach not only promotes biodiversity conservation, but also ensures that local communities benefit directly from ecosystem services, fostering a symbiotic relationship between people and nature.
This panel will cover the view of different public and private actors who have an active participation in the work of territorial conservation.
